Valentine decides to travel to Los Angeles , USA , looking for the mother of the child and ending bond of love with her and thus assumes the role of father ( also because the mother no longer lives in Los Angeles) .
Valentin works as a stuntman ( double- action movie ) in Hollywood and the years pass ; when the daughter (Maggie ) has about 8 years , mother ( Julie) is now a prestigious New York lawyer and attempted to approach the girl appears . There are conflicts because Maggie wants to be next to his mother too, plus mom is a lesbian and has a female partner .
Things are further complicated because Maggie has trouble in school for his father's trade ( misses school , invent stories , having problems with other students ) , the fact is that Maggie 's parents are going to court for custody of the girl, who wins Day.
Valentine escapes with Maggie and go to Acapulco ; in that time Julie learns that the girl has a heart condition and he did not have long to live , thus traveling to Acapulco and decides to stay with Maggie and Valentin . Spend some time and the girl dies .
