Ten years ago , tragedy struck the Russell family life changing adolescent brothers Tim and Kaylie for good. He was convicted of the brutal murder of his parents and now, at 20, has been released from jail to get on with his life , but his sister , still haunted by that fateful night , is convinced that the death of his parents was caused by something else entirely : an unleashed evil supernatural force through an antique mirror that was in the house of his childhood. Determined to prove the innocence of Tim , Kaylie investigate on that mirror to discover that during the last century , all previous owners of the mirror like their parents died . With the mysterious entity back , the brothers soon discover that their dominion over reality passes by terrifying hallucinations and realize , perhaps too late , that his childhood nightmare is beginning again.
